The Researcher's Development

Dear mother.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you for a while. But it's finally happened.

It's certainly been an eventful time at the Dinosaur Research Facility, but of course you know that. Sorry I'm prattling on, but I'm so excited! You know how I told you about Desmond the fellow researcher. Yes, the one who it turned out was not only a scientist but also a part-time deinonychus, one of the raptors being studied - a Wereraptor in other words. Well, I didn't tell you that I found that out while we were making love! It's okay, he's Jewish too, and he wants to get married to me. I love him dearly, more than words can say.

I fell pregnant. Just six months after I found out... Well, I think the picture speaks for itself. I found out that lycanthropy was a sexually transmitted condition, and transformed for the first time while I was laying his eggs. As soon as I can I'll make sure we get a picture you can actually frame.

You're a grandmother... well, you will be in about two more months when they hatch. So far, all six of them are fine. It's odd but I won't really be too sad if I end up with less than six. I think it's a raptor thing, what with them still being eggs. But I know I'll love them as much as my soon-to-be husband.

I hope you'll be as happy as I am - thanks for telling me about your encounters with Were, it makes me a lot more happy to tell you this. Please, I hope you'll come to the wedding, set for three months time. You'll love the ring he's got me.

Please get back to me, and I'll see you soon,

Emelia
